street photography and more
At first glance, these photographs may appear to be of a street scene, on a second look, the imagery dissolves into a visual cacophony of shapes, colours, tones and textures arranged across a picture plane. They were inspired by Cubist artists whose paintings drew on multiple perspectives to create imagery that featured snatched, multi-faceted glimpses of everyday life.
Like the Narratives, these images capture the city's singularities and the people going about their daily business and reflection a personal experience of France at various moments in time.
