I've said that photography did not come naturally to me as part of my artistic practice, but by the 1990s digital cameras were transforming photography just as computer technology was changing the face of education.

As a teacher of art and graphic design with newly developed computer skills, a full frame Canon camera, an Apple computer, Adobe Photoshop and an Epsom inkjet printer I was finally drawn to photography with the eyes of a painter. I've since added a Wacom drawing tablet as an integral, essential part of my practice.
